I’ve been obsessed with food for as long as I can remember, this hasn’t always been a healthy obsession, but it soon grew in to one.
Something you will definitely soon realise, I love a food/diet ‘fad’ and I guess that’s where is all started.
For me now it’s all about optimising health, while having a balance in life. I’ve gone to the extremes and recognised that its just not a good place to be (not even taking in to account the EFFORT!) so for now it’s all about the balance in life, love and definitely in food.
Cooking is my meditation, spending hours in the kitchen and creating delicious meals, it’s therapy for me, like a type of meditation – I just get lost in the process and then relish in the outcome(so does my belly). I started sharing pictures on Instagram for friends and family to see and people liked them, so I kept doing this and it’s grown.
Family and friends keep telling me I should put a book together with recipes and food inspiration, but that wouldn’t be fair as 50% of the time I do cook other people’s recipes, so the next best thing – a blog.
I’m currently pregnant with my first child, so where this blog will mostly be about food, it’s also going to include a lot of life posts too.
Something I would like to say is that I have definitely learnt over the last few years that the internet is full of opinions. Its also full of judgmental people and I know, we all judge, but I also now know that who the hell am I to tell you what to do?! Everything I put here, or anywhere, is all my own opinion. I am so aware that sometimes I get caught up on new discoveries and things that work for me and may get a little too overexcited, but we are all different, all growing and trying to navigate our way through this weird, but mostly very wonderful world (I also very much recognise that). So everything on here is my opinion or from my own experience, but that’s it, I’m just trying to live my best life and you definitely should too.
